Class Description
This is a one-day 2-hour class teaching you the art of composition in photography. This aspect of photography educates you as an artist rather than just a photographer. You will be shown some the most proven methods in framing a picture to give it a look of beauty. Learn to look at the world around you with great beauty and find the ability to take any mundane environment and capture the beauty that lies beneath.The art of composition is what makes a photographer’s images stand out amongt the rest. Having a balanced combination of both technical and artistic drive in photography turns an aspiring photographer into a well established one.The goal of this photography class is to begin creating your own personal style in photography.  From here you can take your images from good to amazing.

Class Description
This is a one-day 2 hour class teaching you to the virtues of Manual Photography. Although Manual isnt always necessary, there are certain occasions when it is crucial  for producing accurate pictures. Learn to think on your toes as you take total control over your exposures. This class will teach you to understand light for solving some of the most challenging of images. Take a big leap forward with ISO, Aperture and Shutter Speed by understaing the concept of measuring light with an important term called “Stops”.

After being introduced to the Aperture and Shutter Priority Modes in the beginner classes, you are now ready to take the next step into Manual Photography. This class is your natural segway into the world of advanced photography.

The goal of this class is give you complete knowledge in in deciphering lighting and translating into camera settings that will produce precise images in particularly difficult environments.

Class Description
This is a one-day 2 hour class . This class take you through in-depth applications of your photographic knowledge. Learn to use the things you’ve been tauight for Landscape, Portrait, Sports, Candid, Nature and Wilflife.  Most importantly you will learn which settings, equipment, filters, accessories and techniques are optimal for each occasion.  You will also learn to judge the quality of your exposures in the field and confirm you got the best shot possible.The format of this class is highly visual and interactive.  You will be asked to participate and put your knowledge to work. You will exposed to images of many different types and challenged to decipher the photographers approach. This class is will help you to think critically in the field and make more purposefu decisions.

The goal of this photography class is to begin using your knowledge with a purpose. You will solidify your understanding of the different varieties of photography and what it takes to achieve the best results.

PHOTO Excursions: This is where you receive the coaching and support to improve your photographic skills. Join us each month for photography excursions where we take pictures together “on- location”. Providing you with continuing hands-on education outside of the classroom. A great way to meet new people all with an interest in photography.

Photo Excursions are always low cost (typically between $5 & $15), a small fee that helps us cover basic costs for hosting these activities. As a member, you are welcome to attend as many Excursions as you’d like to help you feel completely comfortable with your camera . Each month we host a minimum of 2 practice sessions.
